Heritage Line – The Jahan
History & Story
Heritage Line passionately designs and builds vessels to recreate the glories of a by-gone era.
Each vessel is distinctive in its décor and setting. Every detail is painstakingly crafted to remake history.
They are more than a mere provider of tours on water. They craft the most memorable on- and off-shore experience and bring to life untold stories with the right mix of comfort, adventure, culture, history, luxury and tradition. And passion.
The Jahan is Heritage Line’s most romantic and noble cruise liner plying the Mekong in Vietnam and Cambodia. This magnificent vessel was named after the Indian emperor Shah Jahan, who ruled the Mughal Empire in the 17th century. The entire décor of each cabin is hand painted and the furniture on board the Jahan is highly authentic sourced from family-owned furniture makers in East India.
Main Strengths, Special Touch
Unique British-Indian Colonial design with many exquisite artefacts/decoration. Largest cabins on the river with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows.
All cabins have big private balconies. Pool on the sun deck with open bar.
The Jahan cruises on a 8 day/7night journey on the Mekong River between Vietnam and Cambodia or vice versa. Shorter options are available with 3 and 4 nights.
