An Indonesian National, Indra has worked his way up the ranks at leading properties including Sheraton Bandung Indonesia, Le Meridien Singapore, Four Seasons Jakarta, The Empire Hotel and Country Club Brunei and Hotel de la Paix Siem Reap (currently Park Hyatt Siem Reap). Prior to returning to Siem Reap to manage Shinta Mani’s existing hotels, he was CEO of Hansar Hotels Thailand.

History & Story
It is the newest offering by owner/designer Bill Bensley, situated in the cultural heart of Siem Reap.
These 10 private villa compounds with personal swimming pools willallow guests to experience this lively town in a whole new level ofcomfort. Under the ancient canopy of Siem Reap’s palace trees, each walled compound will offer its residents total privacy intheir own tropical garden.
Bill has designed these residences as he likes to live himself….being surrounded by lush gardens which are completely private. By way of monumental scale, he’s chosen to venerate Jaya varman VII(1125-1218), the most handsome king of the Khmer empire.

Guests will feast like the Kings of Angkor while experiencing Shinta Mani’s take on Khmer cuisine. The house kitchen can be summoned by the Bensley Butlers to tailor make breakfast-in-bed, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner. BBQ and everything in-between which guests may desire, all within the privacy of their villa.

Kroya which means “food” in the Khmer Royal language is inspired by Shinta Mani’s heritage. The menu blends international as well as local products, combining fresh ingredients, native herbs and spices to create innovative, palette-pleasing flavours. Those seeking an unforgettable Khmer culinary experience can savour the authentic taste of traditional cuisinewith a unique 7 course set Khmer Tasting Menu which follows the seasons and the local harvest. Kroya offers air-conditioned comfort or an outdoor swing terrace, so meals may be enjoyed indoors or outdoors on one of the Khmer swings.
Baitong – Shinta Mani Shack
Relaxed all day dining with a menu which seamlessly blends international comfort food and tantalizing Khmer street food. Interiors at Baitong are authentically Cambodian, inspired with an enchanting use of living greenery. Cooking class starts with a morning visit to one of the old markets, also known as the Psa Chas. Our Executive Chef will guide you through the market and teach you more about the local produce and herbs for the class. Each participant will receive a cook book featuring the four traditional Khmer dishes that will be created during the class.
Once the meal has been prepped and cooked under the careful guidance of our Executive Chef, these delicious dishes will be enjoyed for lunch.
