Murray L. Aitken – began his career working from the `ground up’ becoming an industry professional in 1991, after graduating with an International diploma in Hotel Management from the Hotel School of South Africa. Since then he has worked in a number of countries including South Africa, Puerto Rico, British Virgin Islands, West Indies, Indonesia, Thailand and Singapore with prestigious hospitality brands including Rosewood, Swissotel, Regent Hotels and Resorts, and Raffles Hotels and Resorts. More recently Murray has been running his own hospitality company based in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. Whilst Murray is a `all-rounder’ in general hotel management, his strength lies in food and beverage operations. His experience working in Singapore for a number of years will provide a solid foundation for the launch of Six Senses Duxton in April followed by Six Senses Maxwell a few months later.
