Casa de Uco Vineyards & Wine Resort
History & Story
Casa de Uco is the result of a blend created from two passions; a deep appreciation for ingenious design and architecture mixed with a complete dedication to the development, creation and appreciation of great wine!
A young man, driven by his curiosity and determination to understand the mysteries of wine making, drove into the world of Oenology never to return the same.
As the year past, what seemed as a hobby to most, developed into a flourishing business. By his early 20s he convinced his family to join him in the creation of a new way of life – a place where people could immerse themselves in the life of vineyards and creation of great wine. Armed with his father’s masterful skills, as one of Argentina’s award-wining architects and his sister’s sensitivity for interior design, the three embarked in the creation of what we now know as Casa de Uco.
Situated in the heart of the Uco Valley on the foothills of the Andes, Casa de Uco welcomes a select few to thrive in life’s greats pleasures – fresh ingredients for a great meal, carefully crafted wines and a constantly burning fireplace. Here one can chose to become the creator of his own vine and nectar or simply relish in the flavors and vistas of the surroundings. Whether one decides to call it home or enjoy it’s enchantments for a brief visit, Casa de Uco is a place where dreams come true.
Main Strengths, Special Touch
More than a hotel you get the feeling of being at a big house where the staff is always very friendly.
You are actually at a vineyard estate so you will be able to live and feel how wine is made.
Gastronomy; winery & vineyards on site; natural activities; architectural design.
The Uco Valley is one of Mendoza’s best-kept secrets. It possesses supreme geographical conditions for grape growing and the country’s most renowned winemakers have landed in the area, making it the new hot spot for premium wines both in the region, and entire country. Amazing views to the mountains are enjoyed at all places of the property.

Restaurants & Bars
The magnificent food and wine program shines at the center of Casa de Uco Vineyards & Wine Resort. The restaurant’s menu is inspired by the land of the Uco Valley, driven by the seasonal ingredients grown directly in the organic vegetable garden.
To achieve this farm-to-table ideology, the kitchen team of cooks and chefs source all ingredients locally, working with neighbors, the local farmers, to create an international menu that still is 100% Uco Valley inspired.
The gourmet universe extends to the sector de fuego, for a true Argentine barbecue experience directly in the vineyard cooking over open flames.
Of course there is always a wine glass within arms reach, especially under the careful eye of talented sommelier who has an impeccable way of curating the selection of the best wines in the region.
