Joaquín Escudero : Holding a diploma in Accommodation Management and a degree in Administration and Organization, Joaquin is an experienced professional in the hospitality industry. He worked for eight years at the Delfines Hotel Casino in Lima, where he obtained a vast knowledge in administrative, managing and operational functions. He joined Inkaterra in 2009 as Front Desk Manager at Inkaterra Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel, followed by his position as Resident Manager at El MaPi Hotel byInkaterra. Currently he is Resident Manager at Inkaterra Hacienda Urubamba, the brand’s newest addition to its unique portfolio.

Inkaterra Hacienda Urubamba launched with 12 rooms in the main house, including suites. A second development, of 24 independent casitas has been incorporated, offering a new range of superior deluxe rooms to the property.
A spa is currently being built, to be finished by 2017.

History & Story
Inkaterra Hacienda Urubamba is a contemporary hotel with colonial inspiration, built in the heart of Urubamba Valley (Cusco), among mountains and trees. It creates an enabling environment for mental, spiritual and physical rest.
The hotel has a design inspired by the architecture of the Cusco region, with an interior design inspired by local materials. A luxurious Andean environment proper of the Inkaterra spirit preserves the authenticity of Peruvian highlands.
It is ideal for family holidays, offering various activities at the Valley and its surroundings, which are perfectly designed to assist travelers with the process of acclimatization. These allow the discovery of ancient traditions on the Andean farm and emphasize the history, traditions, nature and charm of the Sacred Valley.
