Fun Facts
The Connaught’s infamous staircase was built by Maple & Co., a company who also introduced the first in-house hotel hair salon at The Connaught which was THE place for all the debutantes to go and get there hair done during the late 1800’s/early 1900s.

Sommelier’s Table

This hideaway, at the heart of The Connaught, pairs Hélène Darroze’s flavour-focussed cuisine with an expertly matched selection from the 6,000 strong wine cellar beside you. Beginning with a private tour that delves deep within this limestone vault, embark on a voyage of discovery into one of the most enticing wine collections in the world.
The Connaught Patisserie
The Connaught Patisserie is a jewel in the heart of Mayfair nestled at the side of The Connaught, and on majestic Mount Street. Designed by Ab Rogers Design, it serves and sells delicious handmade delicacies to carry you through the day from the first morning croissant, to an afternoon patisserie with champagne, and beautifully boxed celebratory cakes to pick up on the way home for a special post-supper treat.
The Red Room
The Red Room is nestled within The Connaught – a hideaway that guests will only discover through a velvet-curtained doorway from the hotel’s Champagne Room. This cocooning space showcases a collection of creative works in red – that has been years in the making – by four female visionaries, from one of the most celebrated of our time to a young Vietnamese artist. This one-of-a-kind edit forms the perfect canvas for a gallery of renowned wines by the glass. Rare vintages and first growths arrive by custom-crafted marble trolley – accompanied by a capsule collection of six cocktails, each inspired by the wine selection and developed in tune with the changing seasons.
The Connaught Grill
The Connaught Grill, once one of London’s most celebrated restaurants, has returned to The Connaught giving a respectful nod to its distinguished heritage. Design of the restaurant is led by interior architect John Heah with a strong focus on art and craftsmanship complete with extraordinary signature wall panels, tables and chairs made by Mira Nakashima bespoke for the space.
Wellness
Our Aman Spa takes relaxation and rejuvenation to a whole new level. This oasis of calm with its holistic massages and healing therapies, is a secluded haven that offers exceptional personal experiences that will take you as close to paradise as you can get.
Please note that our fitness center is closed from Friday 1st April until Sunday 8th May 2022 for refurbishment. During this time, The Connaught guests are welcome to use the newly reopened gym at our sister hotel Claridge’s, located a short walk away on Brook Street. The Aman Spa and swimming pool at The Connaught will remain open throughout this period.
