Special Category – Luxury boutique resort
The reserve attributes help us create a variety of exceptional experiences for guests who enjoy seclusion, nature and have a passion for adventure, fishing and high-end amenities. Because of the nature of this property and being that the hotel’s location is in a protected area, there aren’t any plans for expansion. The goal is to be a self-sustaining property that leaves as little impact on the surrounding area as possible. This commitment to sustainability is key to every aspect of the property, from energy generation to water purification to the construction materials used to build each structure.
History & Story
Originally named Kanxuk by former owners. After the property was built, its owners realized that they needed to bring their resort to a higher level, they decided to hire a trusted company to manage the hotel and that would exploit the advantages of the hotel’s privileged location. Hamak Hotels was hired to manage the property in 2017.
As part of Hamak Hotels management actions, the name was changed to Mukan, the ecological and adventurous concept of the hotel has been taken to a higher level: hiring experienced staff, implementing Hamak Hotel’s operation procedures and upgrading equipment, amenities and facilities.
