Heritage Line – The Jahan
History & Story
Heritage Line’s vessels are each painstakingly designed with inimitable décor and outfitting, to recreate the glories of a bygone era. Heritage Line crafts waterway journeys with the right mix of comfort, adventure, culture and luxury with a high focus on exclusive services onboard, making every Heritage Line cruise an absolute unique journey. The Jahan is Heritage Line’s most romantic cruise liner on the lower Mekong, resembling the opulent vessels of British India. Each of the 26 large and beautifully-designed state¬rooms and suites has its own private balcony. The four Signature Suites and the two sprawling Noble Suites are excep¬tional abodes with a living space of up to 51sqm. The décor is unique; with hand-painted artefacts and antique furniture sourced from India. The Jahan offers all the facilities of a fine resort: the Viceroy Dining Hall, a Jacuzzi pool on the terrace deck, a large Apsara Spa adjacent to an observatory lounge with fabulous river views, and both open-air and indoor lounges and bars.
Annually (May): complete refurbishment of the full vessel with its rooms and outlets.

This vessel is named in tribute to the Indian emperor Shah Jahan, who ruled the Mughal Empire from 1628 to 1658. A great patron of architecture and the arts, Shah Jahan oversaw the construction of many legendary sites, including India’s dazzling Red Fort, and the famed 777 gardens of Kashmir. This cultured monarch is a fitting namesake for The Jahan, which evokes the opulent vessels of British India.
We welcome children above 5 years on board. Connecting rooms are available to cater for families. Children’s rates are offered (up to 12 years old). Contact Heritage Line for special family offers.
